Southside, born and raised.
After a decade of advanced homebrewing, John left a traditional corporate career in the derivatives and futures industry to build a brewery and beer brand on the Southside of Chicago. Open Outcry Brewing Company is the result of John's love for beer, brewing and desire to build a meaningful, community-building business in the neighborhoods where he lives and raises a family.
John's best friend is Ruby the Brewery Dog, an English Mastiff that enjoys drinking Speculator Cream Ale all day in the back of John's 1948 Ford First Generation F5, double clutch pick-up truck.
This gal was born, raised and raised hell on the Southside from the get. Lindsay has a lifetime of experience in the brewing, bar and service industry and joined Open Outcry Brewing to keep the ship tight. Lindsay brings over 30+ years of restaurant, customer service, and adult beverage industry experience to Open Outcry.
Lindsay joined Open Outcry Brewing in August 2017.
Southsider thru and thru, Eric is a native of Morgan Park and Morgan Park High School alumni. Eric has 10+ years of brewing experience. His resume includes serving in advanced brewer roles at a number of Chicago area breweries, and most recently as Head Brewer at More Brewing Company. But now Eric brings his talents to the Southside to brew for the thirstiest side of the city.
Eric joined Open Outcry Brewing in February 2022.
Marshall serves as Manager for Open Outcry Brewing. Marshall started his restaurant industry career at Open Outcry and has served in every operational function role – from barback to server to bartender, and now Manager. Marshall might be the best bar keep this side of Madison Avenue. Marshall's specialty is making our guests comfortable and welcome. Beer recommendations, sound advice or counsel - whatever you need, Marshall's got you covered. A first ballot Hall of Famer for sure.

Megan and Anthony, together, serve as Co-Chef in Open Outcry Brewing Company’s kitchen.
Megan graduated from the Illinois Institute of Art Chicago with a degree in Culinary Arts. Big brains and better food, Megan has been keeping you and your family filled with wood-fired pizza since we opened. This lass has more curds than whey - that's for damn sure.
Megan joined Open Outcry Brewing in July 2017.
Anthony is a legend in the pizza game and the Southside restaurant scene. Speak softly and carry a big stick - or pizza peal - in Anthony's case. He grinds it out in the kitchen every day. Anthony has a black belt in the culinary art of cooking with wood.

Anna serves as Manager for Open Outcry Brewing and has been killing the guest experience and customer service game from the get. Regardless of what ya need - A fresh cold one? Help in the taproom? A special request? Special treatment? - Anna is Johnny on the Spot and will do whatever possible to ensure you have the best beer drinking experience in Chicago.
Anna joined Open Outcry Brewing in May 2020.
This is Ruby the Brewery Dog.
Ruby is an English Mastiff and keeps an eye on things when nobody is watching. When things get rowdy in the taproom, Ruby springs into action. Ruby likes pizza, beer, breweries, pick-up trucks and tummy rubs. And John said she can have as many shift beers as she wants.
Ruby joined Open Outcry Brewing in March 2022.
