The holiday spirit is on draught in the taproom this Christmas! Santa Claus is back for his annual kid-friendly, booze-filled brunch on Sunday, December 14th.
Christmas music, a special brunch menu to feast on, cocktails, boozy coffee, hot chocolate, 
cider and pictures with Santa.
The event is reservations only. Table reservations are $30 (non refundable) and include a hot chocolate or warm apple cider for everyone (don't worry grown ups, you can make yours a little 'extra' with some good booze).

A Charlie Brown Christmas

Celebrate the season with our annual ultimate Christmas party featuring live holiday music from The Peanuts band! Local friends are together again featuring Brendan Mack, Doug Ferdinand, Pat Keelan and Colin O'Malley bring the magic of Vince Guaraldi’s A Charlie Brown Christmas album to life along with other festive favorites to get everyone in the holiday spirit.
Enjoy great music, delicious food, brews and holiday cocktails in a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. Gather your friends, bring the kids, and celebrate the holidays in our neighborhood with this timeless soundtrack and a night full of cheer!

Jim Beck—beer lover and owner of OOB— and Kit Kuyper, a wine enthusiast and owner of Hawks Hill Ranch in Paso Robles, Calif., have turned their decades-long friendship into a business venture that blends their passions for beer and wine under one roof at the brewery. 
We're bringing warmth into Chicago fall and winter months with a spectacular Hawks Hill Cabernet Sauvignon made and labeled exclusively for Open Outcry Brewing Company.

November desserts 

November's got two decadent homemade desserts. First up is a rich, gooey Chocolate Pecan Whiskey Pie. 
Second is a Maple Basque-style cheesecake, made with roasted syrup, spiced poached pears, and drizzled with a maple reduction drizzle.

Trivia Tuesdays!

Western Avenue needs a game night and we gotchu! Starting this Tuesday October 8th and running every Tuesday!! TUESDAY TRIVIA NIGHT with Geeks who Drink. The fun starts at 7pm, with prizes and $5 pints of OOB beer (excludes barrel aged).


Holiday road 2025 at Open Outcry

Shop, stroll, and sip your way down the Holiday Road all day on Saturday, December 6, 2025! Enjoy festivities along a stretch of Western Avenue from 99th to 115th streets, plus Church 103 in Beverly/Morgan Park.
The MPBHBA and local businesses are preparing a festive, extended day of shopping and family fun. The free trolley is back and we are ready for a fun filled afternoon.
This year join us for lunch (11am-3pm) for:
  • Conrad black holiday live music
  • Santa stopping by for lunch
  • Complimentary fancy hot chocolate for kids (with purchase of kids meal)
  • $5 pints of beer for adults
  • Boozy cocktails for adults
